 | Spur Fun DayThe annual Spur Fun Day was held Saturday, May 17, 2008 in Swenson Park. The Misfits won the Chili Cook-Off, their first win for the team of four women which included Leslie Clark, Charla Parsons, Jennifer Riley, and Leslie Randolf. Team Blattner took second place with head chef Charlie Carter, and Dana's Pharmacy won third place. Caprock Cellular won showmansip for at least the second consecutive year, probably more, but I can't remember.
The most popular event in the Redneck Olympics was definitely where there was more tug than pull as kids and a few grownups just wanted to take a dip in the muddy water. |
