Jeri Holcomb, amember of the Dickens County 4-H, has recently been selected to the Texas 4-H Congress. The event is a four-day mock legislative experience held in the capital building in Austin for high school students.
Parsons were declared the winners after 2 holes with their birdie to take home the 1st place money. The Joplin, Williams, Dodson team claimed the 2nd place money.
After finishing 3rd out of 46 schools at the Regional 1A Academic Meet, Jayton will be sending nine students to Austin this week to compete in the UIL State 1A Academic Meet.
