Texas’ University Interscholastic League released its 2020 district alignments for football and basketball Monday, and some significant changes are in store for area teams for football.

Guthrie 63, Motley County 45—When the season started, the only 15-1A girls’ basketball team to be ranked in the Texas Basketball Coaches Association’s Top 25 were the Lady Matadors of Motley County. Since then they have taken a few hard losses, including Friday night, when they hosted the Lady Jags of Guthrie.
