To a student, summer is the most eagerly anticipated time of the year. It is a break from regular school activities and a chance to take time for hobbies and relaxation. However, some Spur students never really stop to take that break. Basketball, football and track athletes are all still participating in athletic events weekly.
Some changes are coming to the Spur Independent School District for the 2018–19 school year. Spur ISD will no longer offer a Pre-K 3-year-old program. Pre-K 4 students will attend the entire school day starting with the fall semester.
