Kollier Miller of Jayton was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Miller was initiated at Texas Tech University.
In January 2024, Spur city council met twice, once in regular session January 16 and again in a special session Jan. 30 primarily to take action on a personnel matter.
