Spur Golf Association sets tournament dates

Wow! What a beautiful and amazing evening it was for the first Tuesday Scramble of the 2023 season. The weather could not have been more perfect. Thirty-one people came out to participate, with seven teams being formed and three places being paid out.

The Spur varsity Bulldogs track team and the varsity Spurettes track team both finished as District runners-up at the District track meet Friday in Jayton.

Dickens Museum open 1st and 3rd Saturdays

Thehistoricalmuseum in Dickens is open again, following winter-season closures. The Dickens Museum is open first and third Saturdays of each month starting in April. hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ruby Combs and Bron Combs invite visitors to drop by and check out the new items.
