Don L. Hindman, 1934–2023

Don L Hindman of Hope, N.M., passed away January 5, 2023 in Roswell, N.M.

He was born June 11, 1934 in Spur, Texas. to Ollie and Ruby Lilly Hindman. He was a rancher all his life, working on ranches in Arizona and New Mexico and the Pitchforks in Texas. He also served in the Army.

He married Nancy Hindman, who preceded him in death in 1998. Don is survived by four daughters, Lynna Chiantaretto of Hillside, Ariz., Eydie Thompson (Don) of Prescott, Ariz., Sharon Barnes (Chuck) of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Lee Norris (Jeff) of Paulden, Ariz.; two sisters, Nelda Tyler of Abilene, Texas, and Billie Bass of Spur, Texas; and 12 grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ollie Hindman; his mother, Ruby Lilly Hindman; and a brother, Ted Hindman.
