E. H. “Levi,” Dunham, 1930–2020

Mr. E. H. “Levi” Dunham, 89 of Afton, Texas, died Monday, February 17, 2020, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

A graveside service for Mr. Dunham will be held Friday, February 21, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Afton Cemetery, with Mr. Roy Chisum officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Dunham was born May 23, 1930 in Antlers, Okla., to Elbridge and Lola (Barnhart) Dunham. He married Odessa Talley on December 23, 1950, in Paris, Texas. Mr. Dunham was a member of First Baptist church in Sanford, Texas, and was an electrician for Phillips Petroleum for 38 years.

He is survived by his wife, Odessa Dunham, of Afton; a son, Dr. Michael Dunham and his wife, Dr. Judith Dunham, of Snyder; a daughter, Glenda Locker, of Odessa, Texas; a sister, Lona Anderson, and a brother, Elbert “Buddy” Dunham, of Antlers; grandchildren Camille Locker of Odessa, Erin Dunham of Snyder, and Dr. Andra Gregory and her husband Travis Gregory of Snyder; four great grandsons, and one great granddaughter.

Mr. Dunham was preceded in death by his parents, E. H. and Lola Mae Dunham; sisters

Catherine Gibson and Irene McKnight; and brother Orval (Leroy) Dunham.
