Enedina Soto Lara

Enedina Soto Lara, 81, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

Lara was born on April 4, 1938, in Nuevo Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, to Jose and Francesca (Morales) Soto. Lara was a member of the Church of Christ, loved cooking for her family, and enjoyed playing Lotería with her grandchildren, who were her life.

She is survived by three sons, Primo Lara and wife Norma of Levelland, Texas, Paul Lara and wife Norma of Snyder, Texas, and Joe Lara of Snyder; 11 grandchildren, Kyra Lara of Lubbock, Texas, Joshua Lara of Levelland, Naomi Ortegon and husband Jordan of Snyder, Flor Marquez of Snyder, Krystiana Lara and husband Matthew Gushee of Kansas City, MO, Beatrice Madrid of Snyder, Genesis Lara of Levelland, Elizabeth Lara of Oklahoma City, Aspen Lara of Lubbock, Leslie Perales and husband Antonio Perales III of Midland, Texas, and Leticia Martinez and husband Joseph of Snyder; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Estella Fraga of Spur; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents Jose and Francesca (Morales) Soto; husband Raymond Ortiz Lara; three daughters, Sylvia Marquez, Nina Madrid and Fidencia Lara; brother Pablo Soto; and three sisters, Maria Castillo, Josefina Soto and Tita Soto.

A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date.
