Johnnie Joe Flick

Johnnie Joe Flick, 55, beloved brother, was called to his eternal resting place on March 4, 2019. He entered this world on Dec. 23, 1963 in Spur, Texas, born to Clarence (Ben) Flick and Linda Acevedo Ortega.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence (Ben) Flick, a sister, Kathryn Leann Perry, and a brother, Clarence Coleman Flick, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Acevedo Ortega; four brothers: Bobby Flick (Maria), Jammie Flick, Ralph Ortega and Steve Ortega; and five sisters: Melissa Flick, Amy Flick, Mary Lou Ortega, Rachel Ortega and Rosa Flick; others left to cherish his memory are Cruz Saucedo, Ester Segura, Anthony Segura, Rosary Segura, Tommy Pena, Santos Pena, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Funeral services for Johnnie were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spur, followed by interment at the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
