Lou Ann Spradling Gregory 1940-2019

Lou Ann Spradling Gregory, 79, beloved mother and wife, was called to her eternal resting place on June 2, 2019. She entered this world on March 12, 1940, in Jayton, Texas, born to Elvis Glenn Spradling and Ruth Oleda Sherer Spradling.

Lou Ann married the love of her life, Rance Gregory, July 2, 1955, in Girard, Texas. Together they had three children.

She was a homemaker and worked side by side with Rance for 36 years farming in Girard. After moving to Clarendon, she owned and operated a sewing factory where she produced all types of clothing for all ages. She was an extremely talented seamstress and enjoyed not only sewing but designing patterns too. Lou Ann was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rance Gregory; daughter, Glenna Burrow, of Abilene, Texas; sons, Joe Gregory and wife Sheila, of Lubbock, Texas, and Jim Gregory and wife Jana of Brownfield, Texas; brother, Elvis Spradling of Sumner, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Ruth Spradling, and brother, Ben Spradling.
