Shirley Annelle Morgan, 1942–2021

PLAINVIEW—Shirley Annelle Morgan was born Oct. 8, 1942, died Oct. 6, 2021.

She was the last surviving member of the family of Clarke Edward and Myrtle Walden Morgan. The ones who have gone one before her are all of her grandparents and both of her parents, her brothers William Cecil (Billy) Morgan, Robert G. (Bobby) Morgan and David Edward (Dave) Morgan, and her twin sister, Annette Morgan Williams.

Those surviving her are her aunt Jean Morgan Westfall, her nephew and four-year foster child Jeffery Morgan, her special friend Caroline (Kari) Pearson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley was very proud to be of the Spur High School Class of 1961, even though she did not graduate with them because the family moved to Odessa, Texas.

There will be no services for Shirley since she and her brother David had agreed to donate their bodies to Texas Tech University for medical research.
