Gail Latham Ward

Our loving Momma and Granny, Gail Latham Ward, earned her angel wings on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018.

Gail was born to Glenn and Dorothy Latham on June 14, 1947 in Spur, TX. She graduated from Spur High School in 1965 and NMJC in 1979, earning her RN.

As a RN, she worked for the state of Texas from which she retired. Throughout the years, Gail was always willing to help whoever needed it. She was a source of strength and courage to many and a strong, loving, independent mother.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers (Gordon, Jimmy and Paul) and a son (David).

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Boyd and husband Austin; her son, Shawn Henry and wife Kelli; sisters, Nancy Richardson and husband Joe, Sandy Pressler and husband Rodney; sister-in-law, Ann Latham. Grandchildren, Ben Benavides and wife Shirley, Sonni Miller and husband Orlando, Stephanie Benavides and Cameron Henry. Great- grandchildren, Cayla, Bradley, Devin, Xander, Arabella, Jenna, Riley and one on the way. Nephews, Steve Latham and wife Leah, Mike Richardson and wife Alison, and Johnny Latham; nieces, Shanna Valigura and husband Michael, and Diane Latham.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date in Dickens, TX. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice or your local hospice organization.
