Linda Waggoner Armstrong

Linda Waggoner Armstrong, 76, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 in Graham. Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 2 beginning at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church Spur. A graveside funeral followed at 2 p.m. at Spur Memorial Cemetery in Spur, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Linda was born Oct. 28, 1942 in Jayton, Texas to the late J.W. and Margaret Catherine (Wharton) Waggoner. She attended West Texas State University where she earned a teaching degree. She married Eddie Armstrong on Feb. 10, 1973 in Alpine, Texas. Linda was an elementary-school music teacher in Spur for many years. She moved to Graham in 1998 from Odessa, Texas. Linda was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include husband Eddie Armstrong of Graham and several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Cumbie.
