AUSTIN—Last week State Sen. Charles Perry passed House Bill 1325 out of the Texas Senate with a vote of 31-0. This bill allows Texas farmers to grow and process hemp in our state.
The federal 2018 U.S. Farm Bill gave a clear pathway for states to authorize farmers to grow hemp.
