Lynn Ellen Stanaland (Grice), 1940–2021

Homemaker Lynn Ellen Stanaland (Grice) died peacefully at Covenant Medical Center on October 8, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas, at the age of 81.

Lynn is survived by her children, H.T Stanaland III, Renetta Hogan, Rhonda Stanaland and Terry Stanaland; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Lynn was born on May 10, 1940 in Eastland, Texas, to Henry and Willie Grice. She married H.T. Stanaland Jr. on August 16, 1957. HT. and Lynn served in the ministry for 40-plus years with the Assemblies of God. A gravesite funeral is scheduled for October 14, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Jayton (Texas) Cemetery with a reception to follow. John Murdoch and Wayne Clark will officiate the ceremony under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lynn’s life.
