Patsy McAnally Fulford, 1937–2022

Patsy McAnally Fulford

said good-bye to her beloved Texas on September 6, 2022, beginning her next journey but leaving behind her wonderful memory for her family and friends to cherish.

Patsy was born December 28, 1937, in Spur, Texas, to Lois Hutton McAnally and Lester McAnally. In 1945 the family moved to Brownfield, Texas, where she attended school from elementary to high school.

After marrying Larry Fulford, she moved with her family to Tucson, Arizona. Patsy was a sales representative for Alliance Beverage Distributing Company. Patsy was their first female sales representative, and her hard work and outgoing personality earned her top sales representative in her many years there. After retiring she returned to Brownfield.

Patsy was a wonderful mother, sister and daughter, she enjoyed hiking traveling and horseback riding. Patsy will be missed. Patsy was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Cox; father, Lester McAnally; and two grandsons, Jake Connett of Tucson and Jarod Foshie of Brownfield.

Patsy leaves behind her brother, Lynn “Mac” McAnally of Matador, Texas; two sisters, LaNell DeJesus of Oceanside, Calif., and Lana Burnette of Carlsbad, Calif.; four daughters, LaRue Mirr of Tuscon, Az., Gloria Smyers of Brownfield, Texas, Amber Foshie of Georgia and Tishell Phipps of Illinois; ten grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; three nephews; and two nieces.
