Sharon Brown, 1942–2022

SPUR— Sharon Brown went home to be with the Lord peacefully at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, surrounded by her family. Sharon was born in Dickens County, Texas, on December 26, 1942 and graduated from Spur High School in 1960. She lived a full life, caring for her home; pursued nurse training, and obtained her real estate license.

She doted on her family and had a heart for all animals, but most importantly she shared the love of Jesus with all she met. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Maynard Brown of Spur; her daughter, Lesley Brown Davis of Spur; her granddaughter, Elissa Burdine and husband, Austin, of Crosbyton, Texas; and her grandsons, Trevor Davis of Springfield, Missouri, and Tyler Davis of Branson, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Birdie Nell Green.
