Mary Lou WInkler, 1933–2024

Larry Winkler and family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support after the passing of Mary Lou Winkler.

Mary Lou was born in March 29, 1933, and died September 7, 2024. She was laid to rest at the Dickens Cemetery on September 11, 2024.

Mary Lou loved to dance, but especially enjoyed square dancing which the whole family was involved with and loved helping others, especially young adults learn. Mary Lou became interested in reflexology after her husband, L.C. Winkler, was diagnosed with cancer. After his death she continued to practice reflexology for 40 years.

As many know, this has been a very emotional and disturbing year for her family. The family would ask that you would not have a tree planted in her memory instead donate to the Spur Senior Citizens Center or the Spur Church of Christ.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer andMildredThompson; her husband, L.C.Winkler; a brother, Clyde Thompson; a son, Terry Dale Winkler; a daughter, Jerri Lynn; and oldest grandson John Scott Winkler.

She is survived by her oldest son, Larry Clyde Winkler and wife, Paula; daughter- in-law Lori Winkler; three grandsons and wives; two great-grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
