CLYDE—At the age of 77, Martha Nell Havins Watson passed away August 13, 2020. A memorial service was held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at the First Baptist Church in Clyde, Texas, where she and her husband attended since 1978. Reverend Toby Henson officiated.

Brandon Keith White, 1967–2020

Brandon Keith White of Fort Davis and Elephant Mountain passed away August 8, 2020, at the age of 52, while surveying his beloved desert bighorn sheep on Black Gap Wildlife Management Area as a fish and wildlife technician for the great State of Texas.

Grady Joe Harrison, 1929–2020

Grady Joe Harrison went to be with his Lord on July 30, 2020, at the age of 91. He was born in Coleman, Texas, on January 11, 1929, to Grady Harrison and Annie Mae Garrett Harrison. He attended school in Coleman except for one year when his dad moved the family to Talpa, Texas, to operate a grocery store. Joe played football his senior year, starting at end on offense and defense and catching the last touchdown pass in the regional championship game of an undefeated Coleman Bluecats football team. He graduated from Coleman High School in 1947.

Zella Harris passed away July 14, 2020. She was born April 5, 1921, to Clyde and Eva Starrett in Crosby County, Texas. In 1936 she moved to Dickens County. Zella married Luther Harris in 1942 and resided in Dickens County until 1991, when she moved to Lubbock.
