According to Dickens County Judge Kevin Brendle, in a recent inspection conducted through TXDOT's off-system bridge inspection service, the bridge on CR 404 that crosses Duck Creek in southeast Dickens County was determined to be unsafe for further passage. As of March 15, 2019 the bridge is closed until replacement.
