Spur resident Jackie Rumbaugh, husband of the late librarian Beth Rumbaugh, stopped by the Spur Dickens County Public Library last week to display a quilt featuring cross-stitch blocks he completed. The blocks depict every state bird in the U.S. (some birds, such as Texas’s mockingbird, are shared by multiple states).
