The Spur One Act Play company of “The Night Witches,” the Jayton company of “Badger” and the Guthrie company of “Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll and Hyde Play” competed at UIL district last week in Spur, and all will be advancing to bi-district competition at Post on March 24.
JAYTON GIRL SCOUTS The Jayton Girl Scouts took their cookies to the Kent County Nursing Home for sampling. The favorite was Caramel Delights. The Jayton Girls Scouts are led by Jessica Baldridge.

AUSTIN — Texas Deputy Secretary of State Joe Esparza has drawn the ballot order for the two proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution that will appear on the ballot for the May 7, 2022 Election. In order to appear on the ballot, the proposed amendments must be approved by at least twothirds of the members of both the Texas Senate and the Texas House of Representatives.
In the monthly meeting of the Spur Independent School District board of trustees on February 28, superintendent Craig Hamilton presented the board with the monthly facilities reported and updated trustees on communication with Argo Blockchain.
