The Northwest Texas Small Business Development program will be hosting an inperson seminar on the basics of QuickBooks at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall of Spur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 7, 2022. On June 26, the Dickens County sheriff’s office arrested Matthew Olivarez of Spur on charges of burglary of a habitation in West Harris Street with intent to commit assault, a first degree felony, pursuant to a warrant issued by the Spur Police Department, according to police chief Billy R. Spears.
