Fall has me craving warm soups and stews. Even though our temperatures aren’t dropping too much yet here on the South Plains, there is never a time when I don’t enjoy coming home to my slow-cooker lid rattling around over a pot full of scrumptious ingredients, completely done and ready to go on the table. The aroma is comforting and warm. It’s a welcomed feeling whether I’ve come through the door after a long workday, or I’m at home doing chores, writing an article, or watching football.
