In a brief called meeting at the Spur Community Center at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, the Spur city council held its announced hearing on the 2021–22 budget and tax rate. No members of the public were present to participate or comment.

Spur’s homecoming is right around the corner. After last year’s pandemic canceling most of the annual homecoming events, this year could turn out bigger than ever.
