As the years roll by and another birthday looms ahead, we tend to want the day to go silently by without the mention of that extra year added onto our age. About a week before my birthday a couple of weeks ago, I opened up my Facebook page to them reminding me my birthday was a week away. Gee, thanks for the reminder.

If you have a bone folder for making your folds crisp, you can bring that as well. A tongue depressor works too!
I love to take traditional recipes, old classics, and ramp them up a bit. Years ago, I wrote about everyone needing a good basic recipe for peanut butter cookies. This story, like the recipe, is an old one but a good one.
