South Plains Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up Employee Fund donated $1,500 to help replace the Matador Ranch historical marker that was destroyed in the June 2023 tornado. The Employee Fund committee represents the Cooperative employees, who unanimously voted to help the Motley County Historical Commission with the remainder of the needed funds.
By now, the overwhelming majority of Cap Rock Telephone Cooperative’s former cable television subscribers are rockin’ that Roku, using that YouTube, or switching to satellite. The coop has completed conversion for over 95% of its TV customer base as of Oct. 31, according to Cap Rock executive vice president and general manager Jim Whitefield.
