Patton Springs School Students of the Month

Patton Springs’ Elementary student of the month is Emily Crawford, a 4th grader and the daughter of Brandy Missey and Chris Crawford of Spur. In her spare time, Emily enjoys playing Yu-gioh with her dad. Her favorite books are “A Quiet Place” and “Night Books.” Emily wants to be an animal educator and a teacher when she grows up.

WINNING The Spur High School boys and girls track teams won the Knox City Invitational in Knox City last week. The boys won with a team score of 159 points, the girls with a team score of 149 points—a great start to the season.

SHS Students Compete in BPA State Leadership Conference

Two Spur High School students competed in the State Leadership Conference of Business Professionals of America March 3 and March 5. Tristen Martin won sixth place in the Presentation Management Individual contest, qualifying as a national alternate. Tessah Adams competed in the Advanced Word Processing contest. Tristen, daughter of Scott and Lisa Martin, is a junior, and this is her third year to compete in BPA. Tessah, daughter of Randy and Cindy Adams, is a senior, and has competed during all four years of her high school career.
