OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW The Spur Senior Citzens Center had new carpet installed throughout the facility recently, as part of an overall fix-up that started with a new roof earlier this year. Volunteers, including local youth, helped move furniture to the side last week so that meal service was interrupted for only one day. Judy Clay, who recalled with the center was formerly her family’s grocery store, was also on hand with Jean Hoover when the final results were unveiled on Monday.
