4-H HONORS JGISD

4-H HONORS JGISD students Maquinna Branham, Lainey Baldridge and Jeri Holcomb competed at the District 3 4-H Fashion Show last week. They earned the following honors: Branham, 1st in Junior Construction, Everyday Living & Cotton Award; Holcomb, 1st in Intermediate Construction, Semi-Formal & Cotton Award; Baldridge, 2nd in Intermediate Buying-Semi-Formal.

Jayton advances in One Act Play

JAYTON OAP ADVANCES The Jayton One Act Play company of “Badger” was selected last Thursday at bi-district in Post to advance to the Area meet Saturday, April 1 in Frenship. Individual honors went to Erielle Coulter (All Star Cast), Abbie Mullen (All Star Cast), Kennedy Gibson (Honorable Mention All Star Cast) and Jaydon Rivera (Best Light Technician).

SPUR GOLF WINS

SPUR GOLF WINS Congratulations go to the Bulldog golf team, who finished in 1st place as a team shooting 371 at the Rotan Invitational. Preston Pafford was 2nd overall with an 86, and Cory Hamilton was 3rd overall with a 91. Gunnir Bateman shot a 98 and Haden Howell shot a 99.

Dickens 4-H wins livestock judging at Valley

Dickens County 4-H Livestock judging competed in Canyon, Clarendon and Valley last week with hundreds of other students across the area.
