Heavy cream has long been used as a source of fat when making baked goods. One of the biscuit recipes I use simply has two ingredients, self-rising flour and heavy cream. Having story time at the library almost made things feel normal again. It was great to see the little ones enjoying the stories about bunnies and Easter. They even got to sing songs and make their own music with the shaker eggs Miss Dee Dee made. We are still looking for some volunteers to help out with story time. If you are interested come by or call the library at (806) 271-3714.
