AUSTIN, Texas – The University Interscholastic League announced the six winners of the 2023-24 UIL Lone Star Cup presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance.

Veterinary science, the first of five Dickens 4-H Summer Day Camps, was completed on Tuesday June 18 at the Dickens County 4-H center. Ten members were in attendance. The day started out with a visit from Dr. Joyce Osgood, DVM, of the Spur Veterinary Clinic, who told us about the process involved in becoming a veterinarian. She also showed us some various veterinary specimens and discussed a variety of veterinary diseases that she deals with on a daily basis.
