Kent awarded $629K in county transportation funds

At the July 13 meeting of the Kent County Commissioners’ Court, County Judge Jim C. White presented a resolution accepting the award of $628,868 from TxDOT’s County Transportation Infrastructure Fund Grant. This program, which requires a county match of $157,217 for a total expenditure of $786,084, will fund county road improvements according to a prioritized list of 217 miles of county roads.
